Jagan Mohan Reddy gives one more Major Shock! AP CM takes a toll on Common Man’s life

AP people are experiencing many twists due to CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who has been giving shock after a shock to the public of Andhra Pradesh. While vowing to reduce the consumption of liquor in the state, AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy increased the prices of liquor. Even the most important projects of the state came to halt by his orders. For the construction and real-estate industries, the sand policy has become a great issue.

Now, he has again come up with another controversy soon after proposing the scrapping of the CRDA bill and proposing three capitals for the state, leading to the collapse of the real estate market in and around Amaravati. AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has hiked the VAT (Value Added Tax) on both petrol and diesel by nearly 4.5 percent. Surprisingly, it was Jagan himself, who had once argued in the Assembly that AP is one of the states that impose high VAT on petrol, diesel when he was in Opposition.

Now, he increased petrol and diesel prices along with the hike of state government-imposed VAT. With this change, the existing 31 percent VAT on petrol has now become 35.20 percent along with an increase of Rs 2 per liter on petrol. In the same manner, for Diesel, the 22.25 percent VAT is increased to 27 percent in addition to Rs 2 hike per liter on diesel. For automobile users, this has become a serious issue.
