Jagan orders demolition of Praja Vedika
Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minster of Andhra Pradesh ordered the demolition of Chandra babu’s 'Prajavedika' in undavalli near Amaravathi. The process of demolition will begin Tuesday.
After TDP defeat in assembly elections, recently, Chandra Babu wrote a letter to Jagan requesting him to grant the continuation of 'Praja Vedika.’ He even urged him to allocate the building to him in the capacity of leader of opposition on June 5th.
Praja Vedika building was constructed near the residence of the former Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu by the previous government. It was being used for both the government and the party activities so far.
Now, the recent reports say that Jagan is likely to restart the 'RachchaBanda' which was in action during his father, former Chief minster, late YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s reign. There is a significant difference between Praja Vedika and Racchbanda.
In Praja Vedika, the people form all over the state should go to Undavaalli for state their problems and for several requisitions in a particular day of the week. But RachchaBanda will be held in each and every village all over the state by the local leaders to address the problems of the people internally.
