Maharashtra CM Uddhav visits Lata Mangeshkar in hospital
Mangeshkar, 90 had admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Breach Candy Hospital in south Mumbai after she complained of difficulty in breathing on November 11.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Friday visited singer Lata Mangeshkar at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital where she got hospitalized since November 11 after she complained of breathing difficulties.
Thackeray inquired about her health, an official said. Last week, Lata Mangeshkar's sister Asha Bhosle had said, "She's doing fine...when doctors tell us to take her home, we will do so."
Mangeshkar, 90 had admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Breach Candy Hospital in south Mumbai after she complained of difficulty in breathing on November 11. She received the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honor, in 2001.
In her over a seven-decade career, Mangeshkar has sung more than 30,000 songs across languages.
