The latest news is that Moeen Ali has requested CSK franchise to remove a liquor brand logo on his jersey in the view of his religious beliefs.

 
Chennai Super Kings franchise readily obliged to Ali’s request and assured to remove the brand logo from his individual jersey. He will be playing with a specially modified jersey in the forthcoming season of the Indian Premier League.
 
Moeen Ali doesn’t consume alcohol and refrains from promoting the same. He spoke about the same with the Chennai Super Kings franchise and the management made necessary changes to his individual jersey.
 
It is known that Chennai Super Kings paid a whopping amount of Ra 7 crores to acquire the services of Moeen Ali for the forthcoming season of IPL.
 
Chennai Super Kings will take on Delhi Capitals in their first game of the tournament on 10th April.
