PM Narendra Modi, really an Indian Citizen?

He added that, if birth certificate was mandatory to prove one’s citizenship, then among those who were born before 1970, most of the people might not be able to prove their citizenship.

PM Narendra Modi, really an Indian Citizen?

Shocked by the question? This question wasn't asked by any of us. An RTI application got filed at the Kerala information department. This application is asking whether PM Modi is an Indian Citizen. In the application, even the documents proving his citizenship have been sought. Joshy, who happens to be a Chalakkudy town resident in Thrissur district and also an AAP leader, had filed this application on January 13th.

Joshy while addressing the local media, told that the application by him was initially not accepted. However, they accepted it later. He added that, if birth certificate was mandatory to prove one’s citizenship, then among those who were born before 1970, most of the people might not be able to prove their citizenship.

He went on asking, why are not Aadhaar or Passport enough to prove that and what other unique documents does Modi have that proves his citizenship? It is yet to see what information is Joshy going to get regarding his query and if there is any other unique document to prove one’s citizenship.
