The common man sighs relief, RTC strike finds a temporary solution

TRS has done something appreciative for the first time in the past 18 days. The Government headed by KCR has finally decided to consider some demands of the TSRTC. However, the Chief Minister's office said that the 'merger of RTC with government' won’t be looking into as the protestors themselves have withdrawn the demand.

The state government in a crucial announcement said that it would 'examine' the other demands of RTC workers unions. Not to mention that the RTC strike has shaken the Telangana government incurring a loss of hundreds of crores during the Dusshera Festive season. 10,000 buses have gone off-road hitting the normal life. The state was on the boil with the protests of RTC employees. As the CM has dismissed all the protesting employees, unfortunately, 3 employees committed suicide.

Finally, it took 18 days for the Government to come up with a decision that could please both RTC employees and common people. As Diwali is around the corner, it is a welcome decision from the government and we have to see the progress in the decision whether it could end the strike before the festive season.
