The rape accusation on the former Union Minister Chinmayanand has been a sensation in the country for days. Now this case has turned upside down. Earlier, Chinmayanand, himself confessed that he had a naked massage with the law student. He used the bathing videos of later to blackmail.
Now, the UP law student who accused BJP leader Chinmayanand of rape is in police custody on the charges of ‘extortion and blackmailing’. The SIT had earlier arrested three youths in an extortion case filed by Chinmayanand’s team. Stating that they sent a message to Chinmayanand demanding ₹5 crores. And threatened him with the release of objectionable videos.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh court rejected Chinmayanand’s bail plea on Monday. He got arrested on Friday and sent to 14 days of judicial custody for alleged sexual harassment of the law student. Citing poor health reasons, Chinmayanand has admitted in MICU Ward of SGPGI, Lucknow, under Prof. P. K. Goel, HOD, Cardiology.
