Pragya Singh Thakur Calls Nathuram Godse A Patriot
New Delhi: Bhopal's BJP candidate Pragya Singh Thakur referred to Mahatma Gandhi's assassin Nathuram Godse as a patriot. She was responding to actor-turned-politician and chief of Makkal Needhi Mayam Kamal Haasan's recent remark of calling Gandhi's assassin as nation's first terrorist post independence. In the wake of her statement, the Congress said that the BJP has hurt the soul of the nation and asked the party to apologise for her controversial remark.
