Bollywood star Akshay Kumar whose 'Housefull 4' became a super hit is all set to come up with an experimental movie 'Laxmmi Bomb' very soon in which the actor is going to appear as a transgender. The movie is coming out as the official Hindi remake of Tamil superhit film, 'Muni 2: Kanchana'. Kiara Advani is playing the female lead in the movie and the makers have initially locked May 22nd as the release date of the film. However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the country has been in lockdown and the theatres are not going to reopen anytime soon. So, it seems the makers have opted to directly release the film on OTT platforms. As per the latest reports, Hotstar has acquired the digital rights of the film by paying a whopping amount of 120 crores.
However, we have to wait and see when the movie is going to be available for streaming online. Tusshar Kapoor, Tarun Arora, Sharad Kelkar, Ashwini Kalsekar, etc are playing crucial roles in the film.
