Megastar Chiranjeevi, after a political hiatus made a comeback with 'Khaidi No. 150', a remake of Tamil Blockbuster film 'Kaththi'. VV Vinayak directed the remake of the movie and it turned to be a huge hit at the box-office. Not much attention came to critical reception as everyone enjoyed watching Chiru back on the silver screen again. Now, it looks like he up for another remake. According to the reports, Chiranjeevi has decided to remake Tamil film 'Vedalam', starring Ajith & directed by Shiva, which was a box-office blockbuster. Meher Ramesh will direct the movie.

 
Earlier, news did rounds that 'Power star' Pawan Kalyan will be doing the film under the direction of his blockbuster collaborator S.J. Suryah. Due to his political aspiration, the film did not happen. Now, Chiranjeevi has got his hands onto that project. Although the projects seem to be in good hands, an unusual buzz has surprised everyone. It has been reported that Meher Ramesh will be directing the film.
 
Meher Ramesh's last flick was 'Shadow', starring Daggubati Venkatesh and was an extreme failure. Throughout his career, he never has a proper blockbuster. And the fact that Chiranjeevi has conformed that Meher Ramesh will direct him startled the fans and few industry personalities. As everybody knows, Chiranjeevi is taking active participation from the scripting stage and supervising the whole team.
