Common feature in Dhanush’s film, coincidental or intentional?

Dhanush, as most of us know, is a self made actor. His talent is well applauded in all film industries in the nation. He worked his way up to the top, despite his unconventional hero look. However, he never failed to amuse the audience with some unbelievable moves, be it stunts or emotions or dance. The actor has featured in around 40 films in Kollywood itself, and a few in Bollywood as well. Recently a meme is spiraling on the internet that points fingers at something we surely would’ve missed, about the actor.

Most of the actors and actresses have disclosed that they maintain a signature style through all their films. For instance, Salman Khan wears the same bracelet in all his films, Rajnikanth for his signature namaste, and so on. In a similar pattern, Dhanush also seems to have a superstitious belief, and it will blow your mind. His style is very unique from the rest, and rather difficult to point out. However a meme has done it for us.

In most of his films, Dhanush seems to injure his left cheek, just below his eye, in most stunt routines. The actor carried on the trend in movies such as '3', 'Mariyan', 'Thodari', 'Kodi, 'Asuran', and 'Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta'. The actor never mentioned this fact in any of his interviews, hence it is difficult to determine if this was intentional or purely coincidental. However, the meme is hilarious and does make a lot of sense.

On the professional end, Dhanush is all set to feature next in Karthik Subbaraj directorial ‘Jagame Thanthiram’. The theatrical release date is set to be as 27th August 2020. It is yet another action film, and make sure you keep a lookout for ‘the bruise on his left cheek’ in this upcoming one.
