Mammootty said that it has been 21 years since the ligament of his left leg was broken and he has not tried to repair it by surgery. If the operation is done, the leg will be even smaller. Mammootty joked that people would make fun of him again.
He was inaugurating the robotic surgery for joint replacement at Kozhikode Meitra Hospital. Here are some of the things that Mammootty said at the function.
“It’s been 21 years since the ligament of my left leg broke. I have not operated it yet. My leg will still be smaller if I have surgery. Then people will make fun of me. All these exercises I show are by suffering from that pain for ten or twenty years. In any case, let it be very easy in the future;” said Mammootty.
Even though many actors are back to shooting after the second wave of Coronavirus, Mammootty has not returned to filming yet.
Mammootty’s upcoming films include Bhishma Parvam, Puzhu, and CBI Five. Bhishma Parvam is a big-budget film directed by Amal Neerad. Bhishmaparvam's next schedule can start only when the shooting in Kerala is fully set. Mammootty and Parvathy Thiruvoth starrer Puzhu and CBI Five are also Mammootty's projects this year.
