Actress Kiara Advani is not a product of nepotism but not many know that late actor Ashok Kumar is her step-great-grandfather. Also, she never met Saeed Jaffrey, another late Bollywood actor who was also her relative.
Talking about the same to a popular to a leading new-based portal, Kiara said she wasn’t aware that she’s even related to both the veteran actors. “Neither have I ever met Saeed Jaffrey nor knew that I was related to Ashok Kumar. It was when I joined the film industry when I got to hear from him. All I hope is that they have some kind of genetic influence on me,” she said.
Kiara’s path to success is not a bed of roses. Before making her acting debut, Kiara worked in a baby care centre and even changed diapers. She says she has good maternal instinct and being in the company of kids always keeps her happy. “I feel children are so honest, I just feel so happy in their company because they are so oblivious to everything and they are so pure. So I worked in the nursery my mom owns” she further added.
Kiara’s recent blockbuster hits are Kabir Singh and Good Newwz. She’s performed amazingly well in both films. She has Akshay Kumar’s Laxmmi Bomb in her kitty. This film is an official Hindi remake of Telugu film Kanchana. Laxmmi Bomb will release on a digital platform sans theatrical release.
When asked whether she would like to give any advice to her co-stars, she said Shahid should stop thinking too much and that Akshay Kumar needs no advice because he’s the one who gives a lot of pieces of advice.
Speculations are rife that she signed for her third Telugu film which is said to be Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya, for which she pairs up with Ram Charan Tej once again. Earlier the duo teamed up for Vinaya Vidheya Rama.
