Mahesh Babu has scored a blockbuster earlier this year with Sarileru Neekevvaru. This Anil Ravipudi directorial has become a big success at the box office. After that, everyone thought that Mahesh would launch his new film with Vamshi Paidipally. Even the actor confirmed in a few events that his next film is with Vamshi. But, due to some unknown reasons, Mahesh is not doing that film anymore. He is now planning to make a film with Geetha Govindham director Parasuram. The latest grapevine suggests that this film will hit the screens on April 28th, 2021. It is the same day Pokiri had hit the screens in 2006.
According to the sources, this film will get launched in May. The regular shoot will begin on June 2nd. These are currently tentative and will get confirmed only when the lockdown gets over. We hear that Parasuram is now making the necessary changes to the script and planning to take it on floors as soon as we get done with the lockdown. The release date is exciting audiences, as Pokiri is a landmark film in Mahesh's career. They are now hoping that Parasuram will repeat the same magic with Superstar. Meanwhile, Mahesh is currently spending time at home due to the coronavirus pandemic. He is passing time with his kids, reading books and catching up on various films. Mahesh has also donated money to both the Telugu states' CM Relief Funds as well as to the Corona Crisis Charity (CCC) Fund set up by the Telugu film industry.
