Ram Charan is high on the success of RRR and is busy shooting for his new film with Shankar. The film will take a long time to complete as Shankar is also filming Indian 2 simultaneously with RC15. So, Ram Charan has been planning for a long time to sign a new film but that is not happening and this has upset his fans.
He was supposed to work with Gautam Tinnanuri of Jersey fame but that film has been called off. The word is that Chiranjeevi has not approved of the script and asked Charan to look for other projects as of now.
For the last few weeks, Charan has been with so many directors but is yet to finalize the film. In a way he is struggling to lock a script. The word is that he wants to do a larger-than-life film post RRR which will take him deep into the masses. All the directors who have met him came up with only Telugu-centric films. Though the scripts were good, Ram Charan's priorities are different.
He wants to make sure that the director showcases him in a new way. That is only the reason he signed Shankar's film in the first place. Ram Charan also met Harish Shankar a few days back and in the days to come, he is likely to sign a film. But for now, he is in no man's land and is fully confused.
