RRR To Screen In The Beyond Fest's ‘Encorrre’ Feature

SS Rajamouli's RRR has left western moviegoers speechless throughout its ongoing Oscar campaign and the movie will be a part of Beyond Fest's "encoRRRe" on January 9 at the TCL Chinese IMAX theatre. And tickets for the show, which has 932 seats, were completely sold out in just "98 seconds." It was referred to be a "historic" moment for an Indian film on Twitter by Beyond Fest.

RRR was praised for its breathtaking action sequences. During its theatrical run, it amassed over 1000 crore in worldwide box office revenue. The film has been captivated viewers in the west. It has been re-released in theatres across the US as part of the Beyond Fest. The movie garnered a tremendous reception when it was screened at TCL Chinese Theater in October. According to a Deadline story, the 932 seats at the theatre were sold out in 20 minutes. The movie made $21,000 from a single showing. Thus it brought its total box office revenue since its re-release to $221,156.
