Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu who recently scored a blockbuster with 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' under the direction of Anil Ravipudi was supposed to join hands with the 'Maharshi' director Vamsi Paidipally for his next. Vamshi Paidipally too confirmed about teaming up with Mahesh Babu but things did not work. They parted ways and Mahesh picked another director. But for the reasons best known to him, Mahesh Babu has given the green signal to director Parasuram. Rumours are rife that Parasuram is going to helm Mahesh Babu's upcoming movie. The official announcement regarding the same is yet to get released.
As per the latest reports, Parasuram has recently completed the script works of the film and is now focusing on the casting. It seems like the makers roped in Kannada star hero Upendra Rao to play the main antagonist role in this movie. Upendra's last Telugu movie is Allu Arjun Starrer 'Son of Satyamurthy'. Now, he is going to come back into Tollywood with Mahesh Babu's next. Upendra enjoys a decent fan base in Telugu and he is also a co-operative person on the sets. The combination of Upendra and Mahesh Babu is also interesting.
Earlier, Upendra is considered for one of Mahesh Babu's previous films but the actor did not sign the film because of date issues. But, due to the lockdown, we can see that the shooting of Mahesh Babu and Parasuram movie is not going to go on roll anytime soon. We have to wait for a few more days to get the official announcement.
