Suriya looks fierce in new photo from the sets of Pandiraj film

Suriya was last seen in director Sudha Kongara Prasad's Soorarai Pottru. The film, which was meant to release in theatres last year was forced to skip theatrical release due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. The film directly streamed on Amazon Prime Video and received an overwhelming response from the critics and audience alike. Recently, Suriya recovered from the novel coronavirus and began shooting for his upcoming film with director Pandiraj. He has been shooting for the film for the past one month along with Priyanka Arul Mohan and Sathyaraj.

Now, it is said that Suriya is all set to head to Madurai for the film's shoot. Yesterday, Sun Pictures took to Twitter to share a photo of Suriya from the sets of Pandiraj's film. Sharing the photo, Sun Pictures wrote, ". @Suriya_offl from the sets of #Suriya40BySunPictures (sic)." Sriya can be been clad in a shirt and dhoti with a huge sword in his hand. The film's next schedule will go on in Madurai for a few days. Tentatively titled Suriya 40, the film also stars Saranya Ponvannan, Devadarshini and Jayaprakash.
