Udayanidhi Stalin has been busy campaigning for his party, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), in the recently concluded Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections, which took place on April 6. He, along with his family members, went to Kodaikanal to chill. But, Udhayanidhi has now returned to Chennai to join the shooting of his upcoming film, which is the Tamil remake of Article 15. Boney Kapoor confirmed the same and wrote that the first-day shooting began in Chennai with the cast and crew paying tribute to late actor Vivekh, who died on April 17 in Chennai after suffering a massive cardiac arrest.

Producer Boney Kapoor wrote, "Today @Udhaystalin joined the shoot of the remake of #Article15 directed by @Arunrajakamaraj in Pollachi. Before commencing work, the whole Unit observed a minute of silence to pay respect and homage to the departed Soul of Late Shri #Vivek Ji (sic)." Udhayanidhi Stalin's tweet read, "I participated in the shooting of the Tamil remake of the film Article 15. We paid our respects to my late elder brother Vivek before the start of filming. We will walk in the footsteps of the brother who gave voice to social change and to protect the environment."
