Union Minister Ananth Kumar was cremated with full state honours at Chamarajpet crematorium in Bengaluru on Tuesday. Thousands of people, including top national and international leaders, joined the final procession and paid tributes. Ananth Kumar's brother Nanda Kumar performed the last rites. Nanda Kumar Namita lit the funeral pyre amidst the chanting of Vedic hymns and firing of gun salute by soldiers.
