Its officials had conducted raids on the offices and Ashram of Kalki Bhagwan who claims to be the tenth avatar of Vishnu and they found huge stash of cash. The officials seized RS. 18 crore foreign currency, 88 kg gold worth Rs. 26 crore and 1,271 Carats diamonds worth Rs. 5 crore. It is estimated that there were nearly Rs. 500 crore unaccounted wealth. The Ashram turned as Hawala center and the illegal money has been invested in various companies abroad. Kalki Bhagwan alias Vijay Kumar who was a former clerk at LIC started an ashram and proclaimed himself to be ‘Kalki’, the tenth avatar of Vishnu.
