PM Narendra Modi launch 'Fit India Movement' at Indira Gandhi indoor Stadium in New Delhi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi to launch 'Fit India Movement' on National Sports Day today. The event will be held at Indira Gandhi indoor stadium in New Delhi. Fit India Movement is aimed at making physical fitness and sports a part of the daily life of the citizens. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his 'Mann Ki Baat' radio speech last Sunday, had asked people to take part in Fit India Movement and stressed on the importance of staying fit for a healthy life and healthy nation. The Prime Minister will address the people and administer fitness pledge to participants. Schools and colleges to live-stream PM's program. University Grants Commission (UGC), CBSE have asked educational institutions to live-stream the program for faculty and students. Several sportspersons, actors and other celebrities have extended their support to PM's 'Fit India Movement'.
