Mortals remains of former prime minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee are shifted from his residence at Krishna Menon Marg to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters. Officials and workers of the Armed Forces removed the casket and placed in a special carriage, before driving it to the BJP office. There the body will lay in state for party leaders and others to pay homage. The funeral procession will begin at 1 p.m. Cremation will take place at Smrithi Sthal, near Rajghat. Family members and a number party workers followed the vehicle.
