Here's the Video of Pettimudi Landslide: 12 Survives and Four Hospitalized
As many as 12 people survived the massive landslide at Pettimudi in Idukki's Rajamala. Four of them have been admitted to hospitals; three in Tata General hospital in Munnar and one in a private medical college in Kolencherry. The disaster site has become isolated as the Periyavara bridge was damaged in the floods last year and the construction of the new one is yet to be completed, thus cutting off the area from other regions and hampering rescue operations. The area mostly is inhabited by Tamil-speaking estate workers.
