Chennai: When residents near the apartments in Maradu, marked for demolition, are concerned about how the implosion of multi-storey buildings would affect them, Chennaites recall a similar phase they had gone through in 2016. No residents or houses in the neighbourhood of the 11-storey building were affected after its demolition back then. There is nothing to worry about the damage caused by the control explosion, residents of Moulivakkam said.
