New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind appointed Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India and invited him to form a government. Modi will swear-in as the 15th Prime Minister of India on Thursday, along with Union Council of Ministers. A letter stating that Modi has been elected as the leader of the NDA parliamentary party was handed over to the President. Ahead of the oath taking ceremony, PM-elect Narendra Modi will meet his mother, who resides in Gujarat's Gandhinagar, on Sunday.
