Row Over PM's Mission Shakti Announcement; EC To Check MCC Violation
New Delhi: Following the Opposition's allegation that Prime Minister Narendra Modi violated the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) in his address to the nation about Mission Shakti's achievement, the Election Commission of India has appointed a team to probe into the matter. The team headed by Deputy Election Commissioner Sandeep Saxena will examine the speech addressed by the PM on Wednesday noon, prior to the LS polls.
