Raghavaraju, his wife Janakamma and their grandson Bangararaju live an almost content life in Athreyapuram. Deep inside the couple long to see their kids, who now reside abroad and visit rarely. That's when Raghavaraju comes up with a twisted plan that forces them to come home to their ancestral home for Makar Sankranti. The plan works out, but only partially. Problems arise between Raghavaraju and Janakamma, driving them apart.
