Babugaru’s Velagu Desam party gets snubbed in the general elections which means Jagannadh Reddy's becomes the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Babugaru’s pattu does not act immediately but takes its sweet time to tarnish the image of CM Jagannadha Reddy.
Meanwhile, Dayaneni Rana gets murdered in Vijayawada and the group takes the opportunity to bring a bad name to the CM. Pranay Kalyan and others blame the CM for the murder. In a shocking move, Jagannadha Reddy quits as CM and the election commission announces mid-term polls. What will happen to Babugaru forms the rest of the story.
Dhananjay Prabhune has appeared as Babugaru or Nata Chandrababu Naidu and has lived in his role. He looks like Chandrababu Naidu and his resemblance makes up for 50% of the acting.
Tamil actor Ajmal Ameer is playing the role of CM Jagannadha Reddy and he is quite convincing. His body language suits his role and makes us believe that he is a leader of a state.
Dheeraj essays the role of Chinna Babu and it is his performance that brings us the much needed laughter in this boring film. His comedy performance manages to lighten the mood of the film.
Pranay Kalyan’s role is played by a new actor who has done a phenomenal job in recreating Pawan Kalyan’s body language.
Nutan Naidu who essays the role of PP John stole the show with his exceptional performance. Among everyone, his performance was the best of the lot.
Ram Gopal Varma’s films haven’t really struck a chord with everyone these days. But, if there is one thing that he gets right it is the film’s casting. The actors who played the lead roles looked perfect in their respective roles.
The spoof portion featuring PP John is entertaining and it is because of Nutan Naidu who nails his role. The cinematography of the film is decent enough and it is one of the redeeming factors in the film.
In the past few films, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has been struggling with his form and he has proved it once again with Amma Rajyamlo Kadappa Biddalu.
The film has no the story and it looks like the maker has done nothing but stitch together important moments and it’s a parody, which is highly incoherent and least engaging.
The narration of Amma Rajyalo Kadappa Biddalo doesn’t have anything interesting to root for. The screenplay is extremely silly and doesn’t have any interesting moments.
Ram Gopal Varma’s Amma Rajyalo Kadappa Biddalo is a film that crosses personal space and in short words, it’s a film that could have been avoided. A simple political film can always work at the box office if only it has a nice story. But, RGV has failed miserably on that front.
