Vikky is a happy go lucky playboy who doesn't believe in committed relationships. he comes across a Nikki who happens to be his cousin through his sister's wedding. she falls for him and he accepts her proposal and it is here their problems arise and they part ways. How do they solve their problems and win their love back forms the rest of the story.
Akhil impresses us once again with his acting and dancing skills. He has a very good screen presence and it is clearly visible on the screen. He just needs to fine tune his acting skills in emotional scenes. Nidhi Agerwal looks good but does an ok job in an emotional role. Priyadarsi and Hyper Aadhi has decent comedy roles to play and they do their part well. Rest all do their part accordingly.
Songs by Thaman SS have already been trending and they look good on screen too. His BGM is also impressive. Cinematography work by George C Williams is top notch as he captures the whole movie in a bright way. Editing could have been better while the production values of BVSN Prasad Garu are top notch.
Venky Atluri starts off the movie by establishing the hero's character and the whole premise interestingly with a measured mix of emotions till the interval point. The conflict looks good too at the end of first half but he loses steam in the second half
with an uneven screenplay and a forceful introduction of new characters. The conflict point looks unexciting and dragged after a point with forceful scenes and narration. His writing and potrayol of emotions looked very natural but they look very forceful here.
Basic plot & setup
If you are a fan of contemporary and youthful love stories you might find Mr Majnu Watchful with decent premise, Visuals and setup. A better writing with emotional depth would have made this movie a better watch. Akhil impresses but Venky disappoints to an extent. Keep your expectations in check if you guys want to watch this movie this weekend.
