Ambitious, diligent and uncompromising, Karthik's dream is to land a job in the United States and climb up the corporate ladder. However, his life and priorities are about to turn upside down for the better with the arrival of a spirited and quirky girl named Siri.
Love story of a rigid, ambitious software engineer who has serious goals in life, crossing paths with a vibrant short film actress slash college student. Both blessed by endlessly supporting father & mother respectively. Sudheer babu is perfectly cast as Karthik looking dapper as a level headed IT professional and heroine Nabha Nateesh, as a short film / instagram frenzy student. Why they meet, how they meet and what ultimately happens to their love story is the journey director takes us through in Nannu Dochukunduvate. It’s a simple piece of direction with absolutely no cliches that one would anticipate in a tollywood film. Probably the best of the film too.
Heroines character was aptly put across as a small time social media celebrity by not degrading or insulting her passions. Her entire characterization is striking, she depicts the current generation Sudheer babu has an unforgettable presence, dealing with the chaos of his life with dignity The moment you expect something to happen director surprises you with his own touch ( Boy impressing girls family, Boy falling for girl when he sees her in a saree, Boy saving girl from her troubles etc are some of the scene you will not witness in ND) Blink n miss scene of Mahesh babu from Srimanthudu Nassar & Tulsi played their parts well without overbearing emotions. They come in at the right time and leave the screen when not necessary Youtube actors like Shanmuk, Viva Harsha & Darling Das have a scene or two - their set of fans will be pleased Conversations between father & son, mother & daughter, bava & maradhalu are non pretentious and gyanless
Takes off on a slow emotional note which might not appeal for all kinds of audience. Post 20 mns of patience it takes off really well into first half Songs could've been trimmed, except for ‘Inthe Inthe le’ from second half Similar to the first half, second half has some slow moments too but ends on a good note
With only a few comedy, love and emotional moments, they are ones that shine and they are the ones that won’t leave your memory soon. Go watch Nannu Dochukunduvate for a pleasant experience this weekend.
