Next Enti? Tagline:
A boring dialogue-driven film on love and sex
Next Enti? Story:
Next Enti marks Bollywood Director Kunal Kohli’s debut in Telugu film industry. The rom-com stars Tamannaah, Sundeep Kishan, Navdeep and Larissa Bonessi in the lead roles.
The film is all about love and sex and how these two play in everyone’s life. Sanju(Sundeep) is a marketing executive who is very practical when it comes to relationships. Tammy (Tamannaah) , on the other hand is an Indian brought up in London with archaic values. She gets into relationships quite easily but thinks that she needs time to get involved sexually.
Sanju and Tammy fall in love with each other but get separated due to a silly issue. They move and find love in other people. But, will they end up together?
Next Enti? Performances:
Tamannaah is literally on fire and looks gorgeous on-screen. She looks resplendent and has given a decent performance as a love-bitten woman.
Sundeep Kishan plays that guy who can impress a woman with his words. His acting is quite natural and it aids well to the film.
Navdeep and Larissa play an extended cameo and their characters are closer to reality.
Next Enti? Positives:
Next Enti is a film about love and sex, which is one of the most important topics among youngsters these days. Kudos to the director for weaving a story around this plot.
Director Kunal Kohli’s decision to keep the film to 2 hours is a huge plus. There are certain portions in the film that will move you. But, it doesn’t last long.
For example, there is a part involving Sarath Babu playing a doting father to Tamannaah. He is cool yet go by Indian values.
Next Enti? Negatives:
Next Enti relies heavily on dialogues and the characters keep talking instead of talking sense to each other.
The entire film is about ‘What guys do’ and ‘What girls do’. After a point, it gets too tiring to watch and you end listening to some huge lecture.
Sundeep Kishan’s acting is realistic at times and over the top in serious situations. There is inconsistency in his acting which will put you off.
Next Enti will propagate how modern relationships are in the first half and end up preaching how it is no way to go about in life. If you think about it, the entire film contradicts itself.
Next Enti? Verdict:
Next Enti can be watched only in parts as most part of the film is non-sensical.
