Movie starts off in kolkata with Surya(Sharwanad) a happy go lucky boy falling in love with Vaishali(Sai pallavi) at the very first sight and thus begins their love journey. When all’s well and fine between them an unexpected incident happens and they part their ways. Will they get back together or not and if yes they do, how do they get back forms the rest of the story.
Sharwa who is on a roll with his previous outings impresses us big time in padi paid leche manasu too.He looks so natural as surya and slips into the role effortlessly. This movie once again shows us what a fine actor he is. Sai pallavi as vaishali is a pure joy to watch. She too is at her natural best. They both make a great pair together on screen and their chemistry is a treat to watch. Sunil,Murali Sharma, Priyadarshi and others have small roles to play and do their part well.
This movie is very high on technical aspects. Love stories like these need a very soulful music and Vishal Chandrasekhar doesn’t disappoint us even a bit. The album is already trending and the songs are pure bliss to watch on screen. BGM is also very impressive.Cinematography work by Jay Kay is top notch and has captured every frame stunningly. Production values are first rate.Editing could have been better since few portions have dragged too long towards the end.
Director Hanu who faced a setback with his last outing has chosen a love story this time to impress us.He starts off his narration with a breezy first and entertaining first half but loses steam in the second half. The conflict point looks unconvincing and he has stretched it to a bad extent. His writing is good and the dialogues are meaningful. His narration becomes very complex in the second half and goes hayward.Sunil’s track could have been completely avoided. All the songs are beautiful on screen and title track is a treat to watch.

Padi Padi Leche Manasu has a very breezy first half and an uneven second half. It has stunning lead pair’s chemistry, soulful music and beautiful visuals but it still falls short due to its complex 2nd half. Keep your expectations in check and you might enjoy this decent love saga.
